Jo Scofield, the designer, is a documentary television director with a passion for fashion. Inspired through a love of vintage and textiles, she takes rare, old textiles that have lain in drawers for years, and gives them a new lease of life.

“After years of collecting textiles, the first time I put the ingredients together it just clicked. I used to live and work in Africa and collect old Swahilli sarongs - I was never interested in the new ones. They could be tied in so many different ways, and it was the old colour and quality of the fabric I loved. My clients say they feel wonderful when they wear a piece: quirky, individual and very sexy.”
